Tasting Notes

Made from select vineyards planted with a select clone of Montepulciano, this wine is complex in the best way. Ruby red with violet reflections and notes of oregano and boysenberry on the nose. The palate is full and rich, yet held up by bright acidity, like a dark cherry that still has a hint of sour.

Interesting Fact

In order to allow the flavors of the wine to develop before an impatient consumer opens the bottle, all of the wines in this cuvee are aged for at least 36 months before being bottled. Imagine waiting 3 years to open a bottle!

Tasting Notes

Fun, crunchy and fresh. A little more serious than your typical chill-and-pound red. Dark morello cherry and crunchy-tart plum with some wet earth aroma. Juicy and a touch tangy on the palate.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in the glass with ripe cherries and blackberries on the nose. Cracked pepper and savory herbs play second fiddle to to a fresh and juicy palate of dark fruits.

Nebbiolo aged in stainless steel for crispness and purity of fruit. Lively on the palate with raspberry and tart currant accented by a faint but persistent cinnamon note.

Tasting Notes

A typical Italian red in all of the best ways. Notes of sweet leather and tobacco are framed and enveloped by flavors of rich cocoa and ripe cherries and berries. The finish is smooth and soft with a slight sign of sweetness fleeting.

Porchetta, guanciale pasta, BEC sandwiches

Interesting Fact

These grapes are hand picked and de-stemmed before a 12-18 hour maceration on skins to extract color and flavor. Then, 12 months of aging in large barrels helps soften the tannins and bring out the pure fruit notes.

Tasting Notes

Alpine Nebbiolo differs from Barolo or Barbaresco in that the ephemeral characteristics lean more towards druid-tinged petrichor instead of tar and or truffles. This wine is ruby redwith bright strawberry, raspberry and red currant notes like you'd expect, but with a unique candied cherry jam flavor and some peppery and tobacco notes. Ends with dusty chocolate covered cherry.

The average hectare of wine takes about 250 hours of labor to maintain and pick. Because of the steep hills and walled terraces, it takes around 1,000 to 1,200 hours of labor for each hectare in Valtellina.

A crispy, herbaceous and mineral-rich wine. Lively with crisp white peach and zesty lime notes all surrounding a clean core.

Interesting Fact

Ruth and Ana, the two De Andres sisters, are polar opposites. Ruth is the winemaker. She studied chemistry and enology in Spain, while Ana is the project manager who runs the day to day operations.

Intense and persistent with dried fruits, almonds, hazelnuts, acacia and lilies of the valley. More dried apricot and almond on the palate with a weight that's balanced by just enough fresh acidity.

Interesting Facts

Central Italy, and home to the ancient capital city of Rome and the Coliseum. Uniquely suited for wine thanks to their maritime climate and rich soil, but tourism is still a large part of the area and competes with vineyard space.

This particular wine is left to rest for 3 to 4 months after fermentation. This time spent resting on lees will help the wine develop texture and richness and add a sort of backbone to the palate.

A rare blend of sherry grapes and white wine grapes culminating in an intense straw yellow offering. Green sparkles in the glass give off aromas of pineapple, apple and exotic fruits while the palate brings meyer lemon and sweet herb notes to the mix.
