Vineyard History

“Tale as Old as Time”

A typical Santenay red wine is more deeply colored than the wines from further north, but still retains the dark cherry color so characteristic of red Burgundy. The aromas are of licorice, red berries and violets, and the most perfumed examples also show notes of rose petals. Quite the Belle of the Ball.

Tasting Guide

This Burgundy is a finessed, medium bodied red with notes of cherry-berry, flowers on flowers, hints of vanilla and sweet leather.

“Nothing brings to life again a forgotten memory like a fragrance.”
