A French grape grown in the Venetian hills? We’ll take it. A deep ruby red color with faint violet tints. The nose is full of fruity aromas like Marasca cherry, black- and blueberries and a touch of fresh snipped herbs + cracked black pepper. It is deceptively dry for such a fruity bouquet, but the dense mixed-berry jam and fresh, ripe raspberry flavors balance out the palate with soft and harmonious tannins.
