August Box of the Month - One Hit Wonders

The wines in the box were all lovely, though we liked two more than the others.

The food pairings were also appropriate for each wine, except we had one wine that was not on the list in our box, and one wine discussed that we didn't have.

The live experience was fun, and we learned a few things. However, we had planned the food pairings in advance, and the experience didn't really take them into consideration. So, we ended up running around behind the scenes ... not quite the relaxing evening we had imagined.

The playlist was fun, the videos were nice to have. The resources for the virtual tasting experience were the best we've seen!

We've already discussed how we would change our approach to attending a future tasting experience. We would have appreciated just a bit more guidance on how things will work during the tasting experience and how they will move along. It was sometimes unclear when they were moving on to a new wine.

Also of note: We logged into Zoom and connected our computer to our TV. The tasting experience got started a bit late, and my computer went into hiatus mode. That disconnected my TV and computer, and we could not get things re-connected again without missing the tasting experience. So, that was another hurdle. Often, we could not hear what was being said.
