Tasting Notes

Made from select vineyards planted with a select clone of Montepulciano, this wine is complex in the best way. Ruby red with violet reflections and notes of oregano and boysenberry on the nose. The palate is full and rich, yet held up by bright acidity, like a dark cherry that still has a hint of sour.

Interesting Fact

In order to allow the flavors of the wine to develop before an impatient consumer opens the bottle, all of the wines in this cuvee are aged for at least 36 months before being bottled. Imagine waiting 3 years to open a bottle!

Tasting Notes

Soft and expressive merlot from faed Chateauneauf du pape producer Julian Mus at Domaine de la Graveirette. Dried blueberries and tart craisin flavors framed by a touch of rich prune-like fruitiness and purple flower aromas.

Tasting Notes

Deep ruby in the glass with ripe cherries and blackberries on the nose. Cracked pepper and savory herbs play second fiddle to to a fresh and juicy palate of dark fruits.

Tasting Notes

Cherry red in color with powerful expressions of terroir. A true mountain wine with mountain flavors - dark berries and ripe strawberry and a huge violet petal note. Lengthy finish with persisting flavors, letting you relish the floral character for minutes after each sip!

Apart from analytical checks, we base our findings on how the grapes taste when making decisions about starting the harvest. Full maturity of the grapes is sought with complete accuracy to avoid any greenness and to obtain ripe tannins.

Tasting Notes

A typical Italian red in all of the best ways. Notes of sweet leather and tobacco are framed and enveloped by flavors of rich cocoa and ripe cherries and berries. The finish is smooth and soft with a slight sign of sweetness fleeting.

Porchetta, guanciale pasta, BEC sandwiches

Interesting Fact

These grapes are hand picked and de-stemmed before a 12-18 hour maceration on skins to extract color and flavor. Then, 12 months of aging in large barrels helps soften the tannins and bring out the pure fruit notes.

Tasting Notes

The most well-known Nebbiolo region, and for good reason. Released 4 full years after harvest, 3 of those spent in oak, Barolo is a powerhouse of rich rose and anise aromas and mouth-drying tannins. The paradox is that all of this is contained within a seemingly light wine; coffee, vanilla, red cherry, potpourri, allspice, truffles, tar, liquorice and primordial Earth are all here. Oh, and tons and tons of enjoyable fruit on top of those gripping, addictive tannins. The King of Italy!

Interesting Fact

Barolo must be aged at least 4 years, of which 18 months must be in oak, before being released. This 2017 vintage is the newest release!

Tasting Notes

Fun, crunchy and fresh. A little more serious than your typical chill-and-pound red. Dark morello cherry and crunchy-tart plum with some wet earth aroma. Juicy and a touch tangy on the palate.

Tasting Notes

A crispy, herbaceous and mineral-rich wine. Lively with crisp white peach and zesty lime notes all surrounding a clean core.

Interesting Facts

Ruth and Ana, the two De Andres sisters, are polar opposites. Ruth is the winemaker. She studied chemistry and enology in Spain, while Ana is the project manager who runs the day to day operations.

Tasting Notes

Intense and persistent with dried fruits, almonds, hazelnuts, acacia and lilies of the valley. More dried apricot and almond on the palate with a weight that's balanced by just enough fresh acidity.

Almond croissant, chicken pho, green bean salad, hummus + crudite

Interesting Facts

Central Italy, and home to the ancient capital city of Rome and the Coliseum. Uniquely suited for wine thanks to their maritime climate and rich soil, but tourism is still a large part of the area and competes with vineyard space.

Tasting Notes

White peach aromas with green tea and fennel notes in the bouquet as well. The palate carries these zippy flavors through with minerality on top of the crisp, juicy nectarine and other stone fruits.

Founded in 2003 by a group of wine industry friends, Tandem means "at last!" and represents the aspirations of it's partners to fulfill their dream.

Tasting Notes

A rare blend of sherry grapes and white wine grapes culminating in an intense straw yellow offering. Green sparkles in the glass give off aromas of pineapple, apple and exotic fruits while the palate brings meyer lemon and sweet herb notes to the mix.

Once a history teacher, Francisco took over his family's vineyard and winery once he felt the call of Viticulture after a memorable trip home to Galicia.
